The last Friday Action of the year - Carry on No Nukes to the New Year!

On December 26th, the weekly Friday Action in front of the Prime Minister’s Office was held in the bleak wind. Participants raised their voices; “Stick to No Nukes!”, ”No to restart!”, “Abe, resign if you can’t stop nuke plants!” This action was the 131st and the last for 2014, so the organizers of the action called on participants to carry on the No Nukes actions in the new year. One of the speakers raised the issue of food contamination. “The radionuclide concentration limit for ordinary food is 100 Becquerels right now. But, before Fukushima it was 0.1 Becquerel. So, food with one thousand times more contamination is sold all over Japan and our children are forced to eat it. What do you think about this fact, Prime Minister Abe? Under this situation, we cannot allow the restart of nuclear plants and the plan to export them. Never!” (Shinya)

(shinya
