Video release: "Mothers of Fukushima" conveys the fury of mothers over the contamination of Fukushima

The San Francisco based Labor Video Project announced the release of a 17 minute video by Steve Zeltzer and Torii Kazumi titled, Mothers of Fukushima.http://www.labornetjp.org/image/2013/0416kazumi3S
Published on YouTube on April 9th, the video has already been accessed more than 3,000 times by viewers in the US and abroad. Shot in Japan in November of 2012, the video's coverage of both the demonstrations in front of the Prime Minister's residence and the situation in Fukushima, where we hear the anguished voices of mothers of children with thyroid cysts, is like a blow to the viewer's chest. This invaluable work brings to light the grave exposure of residents to radiation that the government and mass media have continued to conceal. Producer Torii Kazumi hopes that "many people will watch this video" and calls on supporters to help spread it. (LaborNet Editorial)
